1. Correct all runway, apron, and taxiway positions to precisely match the real world and the photo scenery. Many times this involves deleting all the existing items and rebuilding from scratch, since the default FSX scenery can be so far from real life. At the same time, adjust all pavement widths, center and edge markings, and lighting to be as close to reality as possible. 2. Correct all building types, sizes and locations to match the underlying photo scenery, using stock FSX buildings: nothing custom here. 3. Correct the technical details such as radio frequencies, precise PAPI/VASI locations and spacing, runway markings, and so on. 4. If needed, add proper autogen within 2-3 NM of the field, especially under approaches, departures, and the traffic pattern. 5. Research the airport and do a little write-up about the history as well as some Pilot's Notes about standard procedures, pattern directions and altitudes, etc.
